Become a CSA member!

C.S.A. stands for Community Supported Agriculture and is a plan in which the community supports a farming operation by paying for a seasonal 'subscription' of food at the beginning of the growing year.

Our C.S.A. growing season is for 20 weeks, from June 1st to October 31st.  A basket of food will be ready to each CSA member on Saturday.  Ready-made baskets will be available with a variety of vegetables.  Alternatively, members may select their vegetables for their baskets if they would like a different mix.  Baskets of tomatoes, peppers, etc. will be available if you like a little more of this, and little less of that.

Food will be picked the morning it is distributed - much fresher than any grocery store - with no preservatives, additives, artificial colors or flavors,  and without pesticides.

Cost to become a CSA member is $500/season (20 weeks) for a large basket each week, or $250/season (20 weeks) for a small basket each week.

A large basket is approximately 9 inches wide, 16 inches long and 6 inches deep.
A small basket is approximately 9 inches wide, 15 inches long and 4 inches deep

You may pay in full by June 1st,  or pay 50% on April 1st and 25% on May 1st and 25% on June 1st.  Cash and checks are accepted.

Cash can be accepted at the farm, and checks can be mailed to:  Jeff Hass  3408 Fairmont Avenue, Naperville, IL 60564.
Please make checks payable to Jeff Hass, and not Salt Creek Valley Farm.

Shares will be distributed at the farm on Saturday from noon to 5 pm and can be picked up at our farm at 849 North State Road 149, Valparaiso, IN.

If for any reason you can't pick up your share on Saturday, send us an email at letting us know at least a day in advance, and we can make alternate arrangements.

We will try to notify our members what's going to be in their shares for the coming week, via this webpage.
